Combining a culture for the best natural concentration of the grapes in the vineyard and a traditional Médoc wine give rise to fruity, round and fat with nevertheless a nice freshness. According to records, the most illustrious of them former owners was Louis XIV, the Sun King. Himself blew the quality of the Castle "Lacombe Cadiot" land. He liked to hunt on these lands and he bequeathed his precious Vassal, Sir Lacombe this property that now bears his name. The family De Schepper acquires the property in 2004. Distant from a few kilometers from the Château Tayet and Margaux, the farm is located on alluvial land, ancient marshes on the commune of Ludon Médoc, among others famous for the many internationally renowned properties located there, such as the Château La Lagune or Castle Agassac. Close to the Bec Ambés, to the place where the rivers Dordogne and Garonne meet, the Médoc Château Lacombe Cadiot property is one piece of 13 hectares planted with 60% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon.
