The winemaker

Dominique Lafosse is the owner of the premises; a retired but still active man, he is surrounded by his son to perpetuate the exploitation of the vineyard. The estate covers 15 hectares, and covers the towns of Cérons, Illats and Podensac, within the oldest vineyards of Bordeaux Graves. The vinification and aging of wines in the area follow very rigorous processes: manual harvesting, selective extraction of tannins, temperature control, aging in oak barrels. All the elements are there to make this a family-owned gem of the Bordeaux vineyard. Dominique love to receive people and could be a wine tourism guide himself.
