    Appearance

    The color is dense and opaque, almost black with bright, brilliant reflections.

    Aroma

    Fruity notes such as blueberry with milky aromas. Empyreumatic touches are added by controlled woodiness, resulting in aromas of blond tobacco, incense and toasted hazelnut.

    Taste

    The palate is both powerful and full-bodied, revealing tannins of good density, juicy and greedy, combined with concentrated notes of blackcurrant and blackberry that reinforce the impression of aromatic fullness. The finish is very long and well balanced.

    The appellation Pauillac is part of the region of Bordeaux from France which include Château Mouton Rothschild and its 70 cuvées. Spread over 80% red wines, but also 11% white wines, 9% rosé, this region is 6 million hectolitres per yer (80% red wines + white wines (dry, sweet and fortified), clairet and crémant rosés).
