À fleur de peau from domaine jean-yves millaire is a wine with pretty little bitters and fine spice. It's called an "orange" wine because it's vinified like a red wine. Fié gris has good acidity and vegetal notes of boxwood, flowers and citrus. Fié gris is a white grape variety native to southwestern France. It is also grown in Italy, where it is known as "friulano". In general, fié gris produces dry white wines with notes of citrus, white fruit and a slight bitterness. In terms of food pairing, fié gris goes well with seafood dishes such as oysters, scallops or shrimps, as well as fish dishes such as grilled salmon or sole meunière. It can also be served with goat's cheese or white meat dishes, such as roast chicken or pork. Next availability: vintage 2022 in June 2023.
