Site: Beaune Premier Cru Aux Cras is located northwest of Beaune, on a hilltop with an east/southeast exposure. History & tradition: the toponym "Cras" comes from the medieval form "crai", indicating a stony, limestone terrain. Beaune's vineyards had already been identified in Gallic times. The Romans developed certain "climats", demarcating them with low walls and paths that still exist today.

Appearance
Beautiful deep ruby color.
Aroma
The nose develops aromas of blackcurrant and blackberry, combined with hints of vanilla. With age, it evolves towards notes of leather combined with truffles and spices.
Taste
On the palate, the tannins are fine and harmonious, with delicate woody touches on the finish.
