In a few words ...
Assembly : 100% pinot noir. vinification : partly hand-picked. Sustainable cultivation with no synthetic additives. Work is carried out by tractor or horse for the least accessible vines. No deep ploughing, but surface work to preserve soil structure. This Premier Cru is vinified in open vats (de-stemmed grapes) for around 3-4 weeks to obtain optimum expression of the terroir. It is then placed in oak barrels for around 18 months. TASTING : a beautiful scarlet-purple color. A delicate structure characterizes this 1er cru. This delicate wine is perfectly balanced with a long finish. In many ways, it recalls the typical aromas of the grand crus from the Côte de Nuits. Ageing potential between 12 and 15 years, depending on vintage and storage conditions.
