The winemaker

The estate is located in Maligny, 8 km north of Chablis on the North / South Valley Serein. Maligny is one of 19 villages that belong to the Chablis appellation, recognized worldwide. The village, overlooking the right bank of the Serein, enjoys a privileged southwest exposure, giving it claim to have rich and balanced wines. On about 5,000 ha of planted vineyards in Maligny has 300 on his commune. The chance of the village is to have 4 levels of appellations: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaume and Chablis 1er Cru Homme Mort. Daniel settled in 1971 with the help of his father and his grandfather about 2 hectares of Chablis and 3 ha of Fourchaume and Dead Man in 1975.
