Protected to the north by the Corbières mountain range and to the south by the first steep foothills of the Pyrenees, the Mas Amiel estate near the village of Maury extends over 220 hectares, 150 of which are planted with vines.Mas Amiel owner Olivier Decelle practices biodynamic viticulture. He strives to use only natural, environmentally-friendly products to offer consumers a healthy, high-quality product. The grapes are harvested by hand, and part of the harvest is aged in new barrels. The natural sweet wines are obtained by grape mutage, followed by storage in glass carboys for a year in the open air.
