The domaine des creisses is located in the Languedoc region of France, more precisely in the small commune of valros in the hérault department. it has been run by the same family for over 110 years, with three generations in succession. Today, it's Philippe Chesnelong who took over the winery in 1988 with his cousin Louis Mitjavile. Philippe is more involved in viticulture, while louis expresses his talents in winemaking and ageing. \nThe hve (high environmental value) certified vineyard comprises a total of 31 hectares, 20 of which are planted on gravelly hillside soil and 11 on stony clay-limestone soil. \nThese soils are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Grenache, as well as Mourvèdre, Carignan and Cinsault.
