Humble and generous, stéphane gros is just as generous with his land as he is with his visitors. He owes this passion to his father, then a cooperator, who, on the eve of his retirement, could hardly hide his bitterness at the thought of seeing all those vines torn up. That's how Stéphane embarked on his adventure. Today, it's a wonderful family story that gives rhythm to the life of the estate. For example, these unusual labels are created entirely by stéphane's son. The entire terroir of Champ des Barbiers has been farmed organically for several years. According to legend, this property once enabled the village's barbers and hairdressers to come here to collect the flowers they needed. From this arid and difficult territory of sea buckthorn, Stéphane has produced wines with a distinctive identity, whose complementary profiles seem to appeal perfectly to consumers. Domaine le champ des barbiers' cuvée le solitaire is made from old Mourvèdre vines. The nose reveals delicious notes of spices, red and black fruits. The palate is full and silky, with notes of black cherry and blackberry. Excellent value for money
