The winemaker

In 1986, Michael and Mary Jo bought a hillside 2.5 hectares south facing. In 1990, after 3 years of clearing, Michel plant the first vines in PERDRIZIERE. In 1993, they produce the first bottles of this wine. It was also the year when they choose to make wine separately places - called and thus to provide a more local wine "MONTOLIVET". In order to keep a balance vine young / old vine, they rent the old vineyards to neighboring retiring. This expansion of the operation was to prepare to install Eric in 1996. The area is in 1996 about 10 hectares of vineyard. The year 2000 will see the end of vine plantations Perdrizière. The field then cultured 13 Ha vine. The 2000 vintage will be marked by the arrival of a new vintage "HEADS". This wine comes from a field of harvest selection. In 2003, the field opted to work the vineyards under the "Terra Vitis" charter demonstrating to our customers our concern for the environment. Our work in the vineyards do not systematically but only when our observations warrant. Finally in 2004, Thierry moved to turn and brings a new hill "LA BRUYERE". The first legs were planted in the spring of 2006; the first harvest will therefore be in September 2008. Today, we operate 15 hectares of vines; the slope of Perdrizière has an area of ​​3.73 hectares, that of Montolivet of 2.22 ha. We produce about 80,000 bottles a year.
