Wine information : Argos is a pure Sauvignon Blanc from Guillaume Sorbe. The fruit comes from parcels located in Quincy, with vines planted on predominantly gravelly and chalky soils. After spontaneous fermentation, the wine was aged for three years partly in vats, but mostly in 400- and 600-liter used barrels. Since the 2018 vintage, Quincy has been declared a vin de france. Sustained straw yellow color guillaume sorbes argos impresses right from the nose with its clarity and precision. It smells of some fresh peas, a little white currant with leaves, lime and a smoky, chalky note with wet stone and petrichor. The palate is directly intense and powerful, with impressive acid pressure and lots of lime juice and feijoas, as well as a little nettle leaf. In addition, argos offers great fullness on the palate while retaining freshness and precision, with salty, pungent notes on the finish. Concentrated, elegant, balanced and with great potential. tasting note by christoph raffelt from 20.08.2022, copyright christoph raffelt allergene:enthält schwefel
