Color: bright, dark reddish-brown Odor: warm, spicy aromas of walnuts, black berries and brown gingerbread spices (cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg) Mouth: full-bodied, aromatically smooth and harmonious, with the marked walnut and spice notes of the bouquet The main ingredient that gives this wine its name is the walnut, which is harvested every year on Saint Jean's Day, June 24. Walnuts are native to northern Provence. At the end of June, they are still green and therefore particularly aromatic. The walnuts are crushed, mixed with Luberon red wine (a classic cuvée of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah) and left to macerate for around six months. Once maceration is complete, the walnut-flavored wine is gently racked, sweetened and seasoned with spices previously macerated in alcohol, such as cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves, then tasted and checked again, bottled as liqueur de noix noix de la saint jean - and finally released for tasting.residual sugar:120.0 / acidity: allergene:enthält sulfite
