This cuvée celebrates Gérard Tenque, founder of the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, whose relics were preserved in the famous Commanderie de Manosque during the Middle Ages. Château saint-jean belonged to this mythical crusader order, and it's highly likely that the knights were already cultivating vines on the property's rocky slopes. this cuvée is vinified and aged without sulfites. 100% marselan.
