Assembly : syrah / grenache / mourvèdre vinification : grapes are 100% destemmed. Vinification takes place in closed vats for approximately 15 days. Extraction is ensured by daily pumping-over. Fermentation temperatures are controlled between 28°c and 30°c. After pressing and settling, malolactic fermentation takes place in vats. The "domaine des genêts" cuvée is bottled at the end of this ageing process, which can last up to 12 months. TASTING : a deep ruby-red color with brilliant highlights. On the nose, the wine expresses complex flavors of ripe red fruit, black cherry and stone fruit, with a hint of licorice. On the palate, this full-bodied, well-structured wine expresses itself in a full-bodied register, without excess. The lingering finish suggests good ageing potential.

The appellation Vacqueyras is part of the region of Vallée du Rhône from France which include Maison Delas and its 48 cuvées. Spread over The Rhone Valley and its rich, complex terroirs. The region is divided into two distinct subregions: Northern Rhone (known as Rhône Septentrional) and Southern Rhone (Rhône Méridional). In the former we find strong wines in beautiful colours with warm, spicy notes, produced by vineyards that stretch 4,700 ha along the Rhone. The latter, with an area of 71,000 ha, is much more important, and this is evident of course in its annual production of red, rosé and white wines quite unlike those of the Northern Rhone., this region is 3 million hectolitres per year of red wines, rosés, dry and sparkling white wines, and natural sweet wine..
