Intense fruity aromas of grapefruit and white peaches. Wonderfully structured with crisp fruit and pleasant freshness. The 'unique collection' cuvée is redefined each year according to the harvest situation. The design of the bottle is also revised each year. The constant is the unique taste experience, which is renewed each year with a special cuvée. After harvesting, the whole grapes undergo a period of maceration. This is followed by gentle pneumatic pressing. Fermentation takes place at low, controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks, before the wine rests on the lees to mature. Domaine uby is a family-run business that has been cultivating the region's typical grape varieties on the hillsides of Gascony for over 100 years. In 1920, the sons of a Swiss winegrower, louis and jean françois morel, set up an agricultural estate in the gers. In 1956, jean françois bought the uby estate with 12 ha of vines. His son jean charles took over the business in 1962 and subsequently concentrated exclusively on viticulture. Shortly after grandson françois took over in 1995, domaine uby encompassed around 100 ha, which he still manages today. Since 2002, the wines have been marketed under the domaine uby name as producer bottlings. The vineyard soils are predominantly yellow-brown silica and are cultivated according to sustainable agriculture standards. The viticultural philosophy is strictly quality-oriented, resulting in well-structured, fruity and concentrated wines.
