The winemaker

Cecilia winery is located on the island of Elba. It was established through the efforts of the Milanese and industrial engineer Giuseppe Camerini, who, after visiting the island for nearly 50 years, has decided to develop his passion for viticulture and wine in his farm Podere La Elban Cascina. It starts in 1990 with only two hectares of vineyards, almost 20 years later, the vineyard now has three small farms of the surrounding land Marina di Campo and covers about 10 hectares of vineyards. Cecilia product key wines that fall under the DOC designation of Elba. The guiding principle of the winery is to primarily use the vines that are typical of the region - such as Trebbiano, Ansonica, Vermentino and Aleatico - with a small contribution of foreign vines that are to improve their range of wines.
