The winemaker

The Cantina Sociale Cooperativa Vecchia Torre Leverano today occupies a major place in the province and is a reference to the regional level. Since 1959, it has continued to grow; the 1240 current members provide each year about 130,000 quintals of grapes spread over an area of ​​1100 hectares, that produce and market about 2.5 million bottles. We have a deep respect for tradition, we place at the center of our work, and we favor direct contact with our members, we follow during all stages of production throughout the year. The high quantity of grapes provided allows rigorously select the product upon arrival to the cooperative and to begin the process of transformation and wine making on the basis of qualitative level identified by using ultra-modern winemaking techniques.
