In Piedmont, in northwestern Italy, in the heart of the Monferrato hills in the province of Alessandria, there is the cellar Cà Bianca Alice bel Colle near the town of Acqui Terme. Piedmont, etymology "at the foot of the mountain," is one of the regions historically most valuable and famous of Italian wine heritage.
