Very early on, the cantina di santadi cooperative winery (one of the two best in sardinia) set its sights on class. But the decisive step on the road to excellence was the fact that santadi succeeded in hiring a 'wine legend' as advisor: giacomo tachis is without doubt the oenologist who has given the most important impetus to Italian viticulture over the last 50 years. As such, tachis is the 'creator' of cult wines such as tignanello, sassicaia and solaia. He gave hope to barrel-making in Italy, campaigned for a limit on the quantities harvested per plant, created wines of great concentration and density, and led santadi to success. Tachis has always been interested in Sardinian grape varieties and wines, especially carignano. He was convinced that carignano was the material from which great wines could be made. And he proved it with his santadi red wines. With rocca rubia, he created a great wine that quickly made it onto the international hit parades. Concentrated, fine, complex, with aromas of cherry, plum and carob, classic and long. Perfect with full-bodied pork and beef dishes, roasts in dark sauces, grilled meats, lamb and game or strong cheeses. Allergene:enthält sulfite
