In a few words ...

The name grauzils comes from "sandstone" or "gravel", designating poor, stony soils. This is a reference to the terroir in which the estate's 22 ha of vines are planted, occupying the second and third terraces that stretch from the river to the village of prayssac. In the Pontié family for 4 generations, the vineyard has been run by Philippe Pontié since 1982. philippe pontié's cuvée l'insolite is made from viognier vines planted in the commune of prayssac. The nose reveals delicious notes of lime blossom, peach, apricot and elderflower, with a hint of white flowers. The palate is fine and subtle, thanks to a fine balance between greedy fruit and mineral tension. Excellent value for money!
