In a few words ...
Pilgrims carrying the famous shell found this stopover amidst the gravelly vineyards very pleasant. The prieuré de bardanac (also known as saint martin de pessac) is on the route to Santiago de Compostela. It used to be a small chapel in the middle of the fields, with a restful, soothing balcony, much appreciated by the faithful. History doesn't tell us who this lamotte was, but just like the name everyone liked to give him, this host had to share all the region's delicacies with these passing travelers. Today, we can thank him for introducing us to the elegance of Graves wines. Tasting notes: This white Graves appellation wine has a sparkling pale green color. It reveals a subtle nose where woody notes rub shoulders with delightful citrus and exotic fruit aromas. full-bodied and fleshy on the palate. Pairings : This wine is ideal with blanquette de veau or seafood risotto, or with a piece of Comté cheese.
