Lampe de Méduse, with its singular shape, is the house's iconic and historic cuvée. Since 1950, it has represented the core production of our estate wines. The bottle is the brainchild of Baroness de Rasque de Laval. The grapes are harvested on a conveyor belt, to avoid damaging the berries, then carefully sorted and destemmed. Pneumatic presses are loaded by gravity and protected from oxygen, thus preserving the full potential of the harvest. Cold settling of musts for 5 to 10 days, depending on grape variety, and settling to obtain clear juices. Alcoholic fermentation for 10 to 14 days, with temperature control. Aged on lees in tanks with stirring.
