In a few words ...
Aromatic red fruit aromas and supple structure are wonderfully balanced by ripe tannins. Harmonious, supple and vinous. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand to ensure optimum quality. After harvesting, maceration lasts 4 to 8 days at 8°c. The wine then undergoes alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature of 28°c. Finally, it matures for a few months in stainless steel vats before being bottled and sold. Labouré-roi was founded in 1832 as a family business, and has since become one of Burgundy's leading wine merchants. The company's headquarters are in nuits-saint-georges, where 1,100 barrels are stored in ideal conditions in the original cellars. A modern annex houses a further 1,300 barrels. In order to always offer the best quality Burgundy wines, Labouré-Roi works in collaboration with a large number of estates and winegrowers.
