In a few words ...

"the first written mention of the vineyard was in the registers of the chapter of saulieu in 1375. The vineyard has a long history with the Latour family, having been owned as early as 1738 by Anne Michelin, the great-great-grandmother of Louis Fabrice Latour's father. Since then, it has been inherited by successive generations of Latours. On the hillside of Corton, this vineyard is perfectly south-facing at the base of the slope, on an outcrop of bedrock. It is on this marl-rich, russet-colored soil that the wines are enriched with their distinctive aromas. This wine possesses the elegance expected of a grand cru from the Côte d'Or.terroir: average age of vines: 30 yearsubsoil: clay-limestoneaverage yield: 40 hl/hpharvesting: manualvinification: traditional in open vats.ageing: 10 to 12 months in oak barrels, 35% newtasting: a beautiful garnet-red color.
