The winemaker

Saó del Coster cultivates respect vineyards Planassos and La Pujada, located in the municipality of Gratallops, the area corresponding to the Priorat, to express in his wines a certain vision of Priorat, both elegant and honest. The strength of this region is fully expressed in the wines Pim Pam Poom, S, Terram, Planassos and the Pujada, where predominates indigenous varieties such as Grenache N and especially the Carignan, some over 60 years. Since 2010, Saó del Coster is also developing a project on the AOC Rías Baixas of Galicia, where is developed the "Saó X", a 100% Albariño. With this project in Galicia, Saó del Coster is able to offer customers a quality white wine on the AOC's most famous national and international level. The team of professionals working Saó del Coster artisanal and following the principle of minimum intervention, either agriculturally or cellar, respecting natural cycles, performing biodynamic treatments on its areas, plowing with animals and based on the lunar calendar for all work on the vineyard and in the cellar. This is a bet to return to a way of working that hardly exists and enables the development of deep wine and character giving pleasure to those who drink.
