Olivier River is a natural French oenologist of the Cognac region (France) formed in the great vineyards of Bordeaux. He arrived in Spain in 2004 and worked with Telmo Rodriguez, and in 2009 began producing their wines in its acquisition of old vines in Covarrubias (Burgos) protected by the Appellation d'Origine Arlanza. Since 2012 Olivier River wines the estate also produces wines of La Rioja and Navarra, totaling about 80,000 bottles of 3 wine regions. Besides Olivier River advises other wineries winemaking as Montejurra Foothills Navarra and Rioja Bodegas Lacus.
