In a few words ...
Our GWENN amber rum is the result of a slow, carefully controlled fermentation of organic cane molasses, giving it rich, complex aromas. However, it's the use of distillation vinasse that gives this amber rum its unique personality and inimitable taste. This rum has been aged in barrels of Chouchenn from Cave du Dragon Rouge, a Breton mead, to give it a deep straw color and a slightly honeyed sweetness. This barrel aging also added subtle vanilla and woody notes, perfectly rounding out the rum's aromatic profile. With no added sugar or additives, GWENN is an authentic, natural amber rum. Its texture is silky and balanced, while its finish is slightly smoky and sweet. This rum is perfect for sipping on its own, to appreciate its complexity and aromatic richness, or in a cocktail, as in a Ti-Punch.
