In a few words ...
Leaning against the southeastern slopes of the Dentelles de Montmirail massif, this terroir is mainly composed of black marl (Jurassic gray earth). They are composed of silt, clay and sand. Plenty of fruit, with light spicy notes to spice things up: an extremely tasty red Beaumes-de-Venise, designed for pleasure!

The appellation Beaumes-de-Venise is part of the region of Vallée du Rhône from France which include Gigondas La Cave and its 0 cuvées. Spread over The Rhone Valley and its rich, complex terroirs. The region is divided into two distinct subregions: Northern Rhone (known as Rhône Septentrional) and Southern Rhone (Rhône Méridional). In the former we find strong wines in beautiful colours with warm, spicy notes, produced by vineyards that stretch 4,700 ha along the Rhone. The latter, with an area of 71,000 ha, is much more important, and this is evident of course in its annual production of red, rosé and white wines quite unlike those of the Northern Rhone., this region is 3 million hectolitres per year of red wines, rosés, dry and sparkling white wines, and natural sweet wine..
