Michael is originally from Maine. He is 44 and lives in Napa with his wife, designer and photographer Hannah Henry, and their four children. Originally, he wants to start a career in marine science. To support himself, he then worked in restaurants, including one that had a beautiful cellar. Terran taste them and appreciate to introduce his favorite customers. He meets in parallel people like Dennis Johns, who at the time worked for St. Clement Vineyards in Napa Valley. It takes under his wing and shows him how to make wine. To learn the basics of wine making, Terran entered the University of California-Davis, where he obtained a Masters in oenology. "It is an education of the scientific method, but it does not necessarily mean that you learn to make wine. For this, you really need to learn on the job. But I won of education received, Davis was an appreciation of the empirical method. "Said Terrien. After graduation, Terran goes to work as an intern at Acacia Winery in Davis. Terran teaches him to make a chardonnay in California, which is reminiscent of a white burgundy and has a good aging potential.
