aloxe-corton is a wine from the domaine jean-luc maldant. Founded in 1988, the estate has expanded ever since, and today totals over 7 hectares of vines in côte de beaune. Based on a traditional method, the work is carried out with the greatest respect for the environment and the grapes obtained are of the highest quality.
the wine:this bourgogne wine is made from a noble 100% pinot noir grape variety. It has a deep, blackberry-red color and aromas of stewed red fruit, black cherry with roasted notes. On the palate, it is both soft and powerful, marked by robust yet pleasant tannins.
Ageing and food pairing:this racy red wine, which improves with age, can be drunk immediately, although it has an ageing potential of around ten years. Its personality is a perfect match for hunter rabbit, confit pork cheeks, game birds and spicy dishes. Saint-Nectaire and Chaource will particularly benefit from its presence.
