In a few words ...
Arakao: complexity, restrained power and elegance. These are three words that describe this cuvée, with its freshness. The 2016 vintage is characterized by a voluptuous blend of wood and wine tannins that have melted over the years. While the fruit (black fruits) is still present, other notes have come to the fore (coffee, spices). A wine full of wisdom that has not lost its charm or character.

Deep ruby red with purple and purplish hues.
Aroma
The nose is fine and complex, combining notes of red and black fruits with well-integrated woody and spicy notes of chocolate, cocoa, mocha and sweet spices.

The Ventoux AOC offers increasingly high-quality wines. Proof of this is the Arakao 2017 vintage, which is perfect with well-marinated meat. A must have!

A very fine red wine... Character with lovely fruit and finesse. The barrel ageing is well mastered. It adds complexity without dominating the wine. Best served with a good meal, it will give you its full potential if you open it in advance.

The region is divided into two distinct subregions: Northern Rhone (known as Rhône Septentrional) and Southern Rhone (Rhône Méridional).
