The winemaker

Burgenland is the second largest wine region in Austria. This territory is itself divided into four wine regions: the Mittelburgenland, the Südburgenland, the Lake Neusiedl and the Neusiedler See-Hügelland whose Leithaberg vineyard. The wine trails that cover these areas cover about 14,000 hectares of vineyards. This area enjoys ideal conditions for growing vines, thanks to a favorable soil and warm weather, characteristic of the Pannonian Plain. Added to this is Lake Neusiedl, which acts as heat recovery and control of the humidity. Leithaberg: Slate is a metamorphic rock that formed in heavy conditions of pressure and temperature. It belongs to the family of shales which it is distinguished by the quality of its grain, very fine, and fissilité.
