In a few words ...
Massal selection consists in identifying the vines in the plot that bear the best fruit or look the most interesting, then taking vine shoot fragments, multiplying them and replanting them. In this way, we have preserved the viticultural heritage of this very old vineyard and improved the quality of the grape variety. It took several years to achieve this.
