The estate / the house / the cellar:
this Red Burgundy from the Côte Chalonnaise reflects all the nuances of its terroir. The vines are planted mid-slope, and very well exposed, facing east to southeast. The grape variety is pinot noir. It is vinified in stainless steel vats, then aged in oak barrels. The duration of ageing varies according to the vintage.
the wine:this pinot noir has a very beautiful color, with ruby highlights. On the nose, typical Pinot Noir aromas of red fruit (blackcurrant, Morello cherry, redcurrant) mingle with smoky and sometimes animal notes. On the palate, the texture is firm, rich and complex, with supple tannins. A very well-balanced wine.
Laying down and food pairing:Thanks to its lightness and suppleness, you can drink it now. It will keep for another 6 years. Dishes such as meats in sauce or grilled will make the ideal companion. With a little more age, it will go perfectly with lamb, duck and game.
