Château Mazerolles is located near Blaye, overlooking the Gironde estuary and the Vauban citadel. Mazerolles overlooks the finest Medoc crus of Margaux, Saint Julien and Pauillac. Maceration for 3 to 4 weeks, depending on the vintage. Extraction by punching down and pumping over. Temperature-controlled vats for better control of extraction and preservation of aromas (temperature maintained between 26 and 28°c). Ageing: in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Little racking or handling of the wine before bottling. The aim is to preserve all the original fruit. Gravelly and silty

The nose is particularly fruity. It gives off aromas of red berries and blackcurrant, supported by a pretty redcurrant finish.
Taste
A round, delicious wine with supple, mellow tannins and an elegant structure.
