In a few words ...

the haut médoc is located upstream from the gironde estuary. The high gravel content of the soil encourages the cultivation of Cabernet Sauvignon. The wines are concentrated, with a tannic structure requiring at least 6 months of ageing. In its youth, the nose offers aromas of red and black fruits, evolving towards spices and vanilla to a greater or lesser extent with ageing. Haut Médocs are great wines for laying down.

The 1992 vintage achieved abundance and dilution. The vines made up for the losses of 1991, but the sun was not out. The red wines are a beautiful dark color, with a very rich tannic structure and promising aromatic elements.

The vines have made up for their losses in 1991, but the sun didn't shine.
