Domaine elian da ros - clos baquey 2015côtes du marmandaisince the year 2000, elian da ros has worked with certified organic vines and has always worked in respect and harmony with his environment. Elian produces wines in which he transmits all the vibrations of a deep passion.A carefully orchestrated blend of cabernet franc, merlot, cabernet sauvignon and abouriou, clos baquey comes from a south-facing clay-limestone terroir. After complete destemming, the juice from each grape is vinified in whole bunches. Last but not least, a lengthy 22-month barrel ageing period enriches the profile of this wine. But because good things take time, we'll have to wait a further 12 months of ageing in barrel to optimize the blend, then 14 months of ageing in bottle to ensure perfect harmonization of the wine. A wine of patience it seems, but undeniably a great wine that will capture the attention of the most discerning wine lovers.
