In a few words ...
Expressive, with notes of exotic fruit and floral hints of white flowers. Lively, full-bodied, tenderly fresh and very harmonious. The bargemone vineyards are planted on stony clay-limestone soils. The prevailing Mediterranean climate is sunny and dry, with the Mistral wind keeping the vines cool and protecting them from disease. The grapes are harvested at night to preserve their freshness. They are cooled and gently pressed. The must is stored in vats at 2°c for five days before fermentation at a controlled 16°c. Each grape variety is vinified separately, before being blended into a cuvée and bottled. La bargemone is a 350-hectare estate with 61 hectares of vines on homogeneous terroirs, and is surrounded by almost 200 hectares of wilderness, allowing the vines to integrate into an ecosystem rich in wildlife, flora and fauna. No pesticides are used, and the vines are grown 100% in harmony with nature. Visually, the estate is marked by the commandery, a century-old building dating back to the time of the Templars.
