Champagne dhondt grellet - cramant - grand cruthe domaine dhondt-grellet is located in flavigny, at the gateway to avize, in the heart of champagne's côte des blancs. The 6-hectare vineyard is planted with chardonnay (in the communes of cramant, chouilly and cuis) and pinot noir (in avenay-val-d’or in the great marne valley). In 1986, eric dhondt and edith grellet decided to stop selling grapes to private individuals and launched dhondt-grellet. Their son, Adrien, now in his twenties, took over the winemaking and quickly took his family's wines to another level. He has slowly expanded the range of champagnes produced by isolating their holdings across the villages of cramant and cuis and bottling pure expressions of chardonnay.cramant is a blanc de blanc grand cru, made from chardonnay vines from two villages: cramant and chouilly. It is vinified in stainless steel vats, and the dosage is 3 g/l to 4 g/l. Adrien plans to vinify this cuvée in barrique in the near future.cépage : 100% chardonnay
