Domaine de l'arlot - cuvée mont des oiseaux 2018the domaine de l'arlot is located on the côte de nuits, just south of nuits-saint-georges in burgundy. The domaine owns vines in several prestigious vineyards, including two premier cru vineyards, the monopole clos de forêts saint-georges and clos de l'arlot. The arlot vineyard was created in the 18th century when the owner of the property built the surrounding wall. It was then enlarged by the neacute jules belin after his purchase in 1891. Its modern incarnation derives from the sale of the property by belin's heirs to the French investment company axa milles, which also owns several other wineries. Axa has further expanded the domaine de l'arlot holdings with parcels from the premier cru vosne-romanée les suchots and grand cru romanée saint-vivant vineyards. Farming practices have been organic since 2000 and biodynamic since 2003.mont des oiseaux is a cuvée produced in small quantities from the youngest vines of clos de l’arlot, the estate's monopoly. This nuits saint georges premier cru comes from the upper part of the clos, on a white limestone soil, and from part of the young vines located in the lower part of the clos on a marly soil. Ageing lasts 15-18 months, with 30% new barrels.cépage : 100% pinot noir
