In a few words ...
For this cuvée, we adopted a radically different attitude from the usual Bordeaux practice of blending: we sought the expression of a place and a grape variety. The magnificent Lestang hillside on our estate, which is in the process of converting to organic farming, produced magnificent grapes in 2020: the fruit expresses itself without artifice... 100% merlot. In conversion to organic farming, mechanical harvesting, fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, total destemming, ageing in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, ageing in cement vats with epoxy resin, clay-limestone soils.
