Domaine Jousset was created in 2004. It is the fruit of the efforts and passion of lise and bertrand jousset. Today, the vineyard covers 11 hectares in 23 parcels in the montlouis-sur-loire and touraine appellations. The vines range in age from 30 to 130 years. And then there's the Joussets' belief in organic farming and winemaking! They have been certified since 2005, and also turned to biodynamic viticulture in 2011, because they want to produce living wines, wines that don't cause the death of the soil, but rather express its richness and complexity. This means winter pruning, ploughing, natural treatments and carefully sorted manual harvesting. When it comes to vinification, Lise Jousset sums it up perfectly: "We don't cook in the cellar! We let our wines mature naturally, with just a little sulfur and just the right amount. Exilé natural sparkling wine from domaine lise & bertrand jousset comes from chenin and colombard vines. The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified naturally, unfiltered, unfined and aged in oak barrels.
