In a few words ...
The Lindenlaub family has been cultivating vines at Dorlisheim in the heart of Alsace for over 2 centuries (since 1759, to be precise!). When christophe lindenlaub took over the estate, he converted it to organic farming in 2009 (certification came in 2012) and then to biodynamic viticulture, with the aim of making wines as natural as possible out of respect for his terroir. A great challenge, and we thank him for his decision! On soils composed mainly of clay-limestone over sandstone, the 7 Alsatian grape varieties are grown: sylvaner, pinot blanc, gris and noir, muscat, riesling and gewurztraminer. They are pampered with biodynamic preparations. Harvesting is, of course, done by hand. For vinification, christophe lindelaub often prefers to use stainless steel vats to preserve the freshness and purity of the grapes. Crémants, pet nat, oxidative wines, sweet wines, orange wines, and the more classic reds and whites, our winemaker likes to experiment. Of course, there are failures, that's part of the learning process... but thanks to hard work, rigor, and motivated by his convictions, today, all those who have drunk his wines will be able to enjoy them.
