In a few words ...

Pale straw yellow in the glass. Discreet bouquet with fine fruity notes. On the palate, fresh, fruity aromas are complemented by a full-bodied, well-balanced structure. Edelzwicker' is the only wine produced in Alsace AOC from a blend of different grape varieties. The three grape varieties used are generally Muscadet, Silvaner and Pinot Blanc, but each producer has his own composition. What they all have in common is the goal of producing a dry, approachable white wine that can accompany an entire meal. The vineyards are ideally located around the village of bennwihr in alsace. After harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented at controlled temperatures. After a suitable maturation period in stainless steel vats, the cuvée is elaborated and the wine is bottled relatively young to preserve its typical fresh fruitiness. The Bestheim wine cooperative was born of the merger of the renowned bennwihr and westhalten wineries, each with a long tradition in Alsatian viticulture. Westhalten is an Alsatian village at the foot of the Vosges foothills, with unique soils in the heart of the noble valley, where a Mediterranean-type climate prevails. Its vineyards are the highest in Alsace, at 410 meters above sea level, and stretch along steep, south-facing hills. The optimal nature of its soils enables the production of exceptional crémants. The village of bennwihr, on the other hand, is geographically focused on the production of still wines. With almost 720 hectares of vines, bestheim now produces around 8.5 million bottles a year. The associated winegrowers guarantee the high quality of the harvest, which fully expresses the typical characteristics of Alsace's soils and microclimates. Allergene:enthält sulfite
