Goubau Castle is located on top of the clay and limestone plateau of Saint Philippe d'Aiguilhe 100 meters, the highest point of the Gironde. Therefore, the vineyard is constantly exposed to the sun and enjoys a light breeze, steady, avoiding overheating of grapes and for the rapid dissipation of stagnant moisture morning. The clay-limestone subsoil allows ideal water regulation now cool the roots and allowing the vines to withstand drought well. A rare earth, among the best in Bordeaux.
