Château lafont menaut 2018the château lafont-menaut is located in pessac-léognan, in the gravel region of bordeaux. It has belonged to the perrin family since 1990, when philibert perrin acquired the property near the chateau carbonnieux. He undertook a deforestation program and found an old abandoned washhouse: the Menaut fountain, which is the origin of the name of the château lafont menaut. Over the years, Philibert Perrin has replanted 15 hectares of red cedar and 3.5 hectares of white cedar to bring this ancestral vineyard back to life. château lafont-menaut is a blend of cabernet sauvignon (50%), merlot (45%) and cabernet franc (5%). Ageing lasts 12 months in barrels, 30% of which are new.cépages : 50% cabernet sauvignon, 45% merlot, 5% cabernet franc
