Château le puy - barthélemy 2017château le puy is located à libourne, à bordeaux. It has belonged to the amoreau family since 1610, and today the estate is managed by the fifteenth generation, jean-pierre and pascal amoreau. Today, the vineyard covers 51 hectares divided into three parcels. In 1990, Amoreau began research into raising their wines without the addition of sulfites. These wines, made from perfectly sorted grapes, are neither sulfited, nor yeasted, nor chaptalized during fermentation, and are yeasted for 24 months without the addition of sulfur dioxide. They are therefore leavened by tonnage according to a precise lunar calendar (certified biodynamic leavening since 2012). These wines are the pure, original expression of the terroir, as indicated on the label.la cuvée barthélémy is a blend of Merlot (85%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (15%), from a parcel of vines called les rocs ». The wine is aged in oak barrels for 24 months, with technical interventions optimized according to the lunar calendar, and without the addition of sulfur dioxide or other chemicals.cépages : 85% merlot, 15% cabernet sauvignon
