    In a few words ...

    This cuvée is a blend of Pinot Noir grapes from the finest terroirs of the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits. The grapes come from parcels on the slopes of Villars Fontaine (50%), which are at the same latitude as Vosne-Romanée, from the lieu-dit Les Dames Huguettes (33%) overlooking Nuits-Saint-Georges, from parcels in Magny-les-Villiers and Villiers-la-Faye (15%), and from the hill of Vergy at 450m altitude (2%). These terroirs, mostly facing east-south-east and situated 150m above the Côte, keep the nights cool throughout the grape ripening period, giving the wines their purity and freshness.

    Appearance

    Beautiful deep red color

    Aroma

    Intense and bright cherry and truffle, with a touch of toasted bread, impressive aromatic complexity, spicy notes (juniper berries, cloves, cumin) and fruity notes (raspberry jelly, cooked cherry, a little fig), hints of cigar, incense and bark.

    Taste

    A very fine attack, round, fresh and full, with tannins and acidity typical of Hautes-Côtes that "sizzle" on the palate, demonstrating the great ageing potential of this wine of character, endowed with a fine freshness.
