The winemaker

The 43 hectares of vineyards of Château de Beauregard and Domaines Joseph Burrier and Georges Burrier, including 22 of Pouilly-Fuissé, 7 of Saint-Véran and 12 of Fleurie, Moulin-à -Vent, Morgon, Saint-Amour and Chiroubles, make up one of the major Domaines in southern Burgundy. Since 1872, the Château has also owned a property and winery in Fleurie (at a place called Poncié), the former Maison Tournissoux, where some of the estate's great red wines are vinified. Our vines are cultivated with the utmost respect for the environment, to encourage soil life and root development. Working the soil and ensuring the quality of the grapes, followed by slow, natural vinification in vats or oak barrels, are essential to us in our search for the right expression of our terroirs.
